Year 1 went on a school trip to the British Motor Museum. Year 1 thoroughly enjoyed their time dressing up as bus drivers, riding on a 100-year-old bus and investigating the first ever car. Here are some pictures of the cars we observed and the costumes we dressed up in.

To enhance our STEAM learning this term our Year 1 class visited the British Motor Museum at Gaydon. The class had the chance to investigate lots of different motor vehicles and see how they have developed over time. They even got to sit in the vehicles and get dressed up. pic.twitter.com/RknBFOOynI

KS2 competed in their second House Competition of the academic year. The challenge involved orienteering, searching for puzzle pieces with the aid of a map of the school grounds. However, it wasn’t that easy. There were lots of challenges to earn their puzzle pieces to begin with

School Uniform

We endeavour to achieve a high standard in all our activities at school and we expect this to be reflected both in the appearance and behaviour of our pupils.

All children must have full school uniform, worn correctly, for daily attendance at school. Uniform will usually be worn on occasions when children are representing the school, including school visits. Uniform guidelines can be found, in full, in the policy at the bottom of this page.

Parents and carers are asked to co-operate fully by providing the uniform and ensuring children wear it correctly to and from school, and at other times as required.

Our suppliers offer the full range of uniform, PE Kit and accessories for pupils which can be purchased directly here:

Link to MyClothing (our uniform supplier)

Please note that currently, MyClothing are discontinuing some age ranges (4-5 yrs, 6-7 yrs, 8-9 yrs and 10-11 yrs). There may be some of these sizes in stock, but one they are gone and showing out of stock there will be no more replacing them. It is advised to purchase the next size up.

Provisions for second-hand uniform

Please do see our 'uniform bin' for dropping off second-hand uniform.  We appreciate all donations.

Please do ask at the School Office if you wish to view our second-hand uniform.

We are also running a 'Winter Coat Swap'. We have a number of donated coats that are free, so please do take a look. The coats are in the school reception for you to see.

Nursery uniform expectations

What uniform do Nursery need?

We are slightly more relaxed about the Nursery uniform but would really like them to wear Cherry Field items where possible. The white polo shirt and grey school jumper/cardigan are Nursery uniform but if My Clothing do not have small enough sizes (aged 2) then plain dark grey jumpers/cardigans are acceptable. The most important thing in Nursery is that they are comfortable and confident when coming into school. Black jogging bottoms are a uniform item, but they do not have to be purchased from My Clothing (they just need to be black) and children can be in other items such as leggings or grey school skirts/trousers if necessary. Whatever item they are most confident and independent with toileting in - they do not have to be jogging bottoms.

What footwear will Nursery children need?

They will need a pair of wellies for outside. They can travel to and from school in whatever they are comfortable in.

Do Nursery children need a book bag?

No, they don't.
